Some users may not be able to empty their Deleted Items folder. We will update this article as soon as we have more information on a fix. Some Safari users are unable to add email addresses in the To section, or cannot point the cursor in the To field.

Another options is to use the Filter Email button on the ribbon. The loading of unregistered MAPI services has been disabled by default to make Outlook more secure. Try sending a new email and ask someone to send you a new email. While attempting, the damaged program or an out-of-date can cause this error. One thing that filters are good at is to enable unified inbox ability in outlook that is unfortunately not built in by default.

Although it's not possible at the moment to turn the feature off entirely, you can choose to remove it from your favorites list by right clicking the folder and selecting Remove from Favorites. To help you get rid of these duplicates, we have released a fix which will automatically clean up your contact list. This fix will clean up duplicate contacts for end users starting August 9, 2023. Rollout of the fix to all users will take few weeks, so, some users may see the fix applied by the end of September. The AppData folder hosts a lot of files, including bookmarks and cached pages. This might be slowing down or overriding other commands in Outlook. To disable this feature, you'll need to edit the Windows Registry.

This issue has been mitigated and we are continuing to monitor the issue to ensure stability.

We're investigating the issues and will update this page when a fix is available. In the meantime, please use the workarounds suggested for each issue. We can say that you will likely need to reinstall your software and reconfigure the firewall settings. Often there is the option to add sites to a whitelist, and you can give more permissions to Outlook.

We recommend setting Windows Update to automatically download and install recommended updates. Bug fixes, new features, and performance enhancements are released regularly. For example, the first time you try to Dismiss All on a list of reminders, Outlook asks you if you're sure you want to do that.
